Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This policy explains how we use cookies and similar technologies.

1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.

2. How We Use Cookies

Currently, ReCognate uses only essential cookies required for the basic functioning and security of our website, such as managing authentication sessions for our admin dashboard via Supabase. We currently do not use non-essential tracking or advertising cookies.

3. Future Analytics Cookies

In the future, we may implement analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Plausible) to help us understand how visitors interact with our website. If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and provide a mechanism for you to consent or opt-out in accordance with applicable laws.

4. Managing Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings preferences. However, if you limit the ability of websites to set cookies, you may worsen your overall user experience, since it will no longer be personalized to you. It may also stop you from saving customized settings like login information.
